If you find yourself needing help after attempting the homework or studying on your own, please know there are many options available to you.
We strongly encourage you to take advantage of our departmental Physics Help and the STEM Zone, since many introductory classes have a dedicated STEM Zone ZI. Additional tutoring and academic support is available through the APEX (for more information see below in the Academic Resource Section).
Physics Help sessions:
The Physics Department is offering one help session each
Tuesday from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. in Taylor 101.
You can talk with upper-level physics majors Therrin Baker ’28 and Abby Hovorka ’26 about your upcoming homework, past homework, exam review, or any other conceptual question you have.
STEM Zone:
The STEM Zone is physically located in Severance 105 and is open
Sunday – Thursday 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Our Physics for the Physical Sciences Zone Intern Tim Book holds the following office hours:

Tutors:
Peer tutoring is available upon request through the Academic Resource Center. You can meet in one-on-one sessions with an upper level physics major. Please visit this website to request a peer tutor.

If you have any questions about any of the Math concepts used in our classes, please visit the Math Center in the third floor of Taylor Hall, open Sunday to Friday at varying times. You can find more information on this website.
