Need Help?

If you find yourself needing help after attempting the homework or studying on your own, please know there are many options available to you.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of our departmental Physics Help and the STEM Zone, since many introductory classes have a dedicated STEM Zone ZI. Additional tutoring and academic support is available through the APEX (for more information see below in the Academic Resource Section).

Physics Help sessions (part of the STEM Zone):

The Physics Department is offering help sessions each

Tuesday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. in Taylor 101.

You can talk with physics majors Ansar Dussaliyev ’29 and Madeline Bruns ’29 about your previous or upcoming homework, past homework, exam review, or any other conceptual question you have.

STEM Zone:

STEM Zone spaces are learning communities where students enrolled in introductory STEM courses can find quiet space or collaborative space to work, and get assistance from STEM Zone Interns, upper-level students who are trained to answer questions and inspire learning consistent with Wooster’s “independent minds, working together.”

The Taylor STEM Zone is physically located in Taylor 205 and is open
Wednesday & Thursday 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday to Thursday 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
